Les Dames D’Escoffier Dallas (LDEI-Dallas) is hosting once again their annual shindig A Dame Good Party on March 3, 2019. Chef Nikky Phinyawatana is going to be at that party, and she’s inviting you to join her there.
Just like before, A Dame Good Party promises to be an evening where you can enjoy great food and socialize with women who want to change the world one philanthropic deed at a time. It’s going to be totally fun, and all for a good cause.
A Dame Good Party helps fund LDEI-Dallas’ scholarship programs
First of all, what is A Dame Good Party? A Dame Good Party is the signature fundraising event that LDEI-Dallas puts together every year. For one night, members of this exclusive organization offer their uniquely crafted dishes and fine wines as a treat for the party’s guests, who have bought tickets to experience this event. Guests can also join the raffles and the live auction for a shot at some exclusive swag.
The funds that the LDEI-Dallas raises from A Dame Good Party are used for its various scholarship programs and other educational projects. LDEI-Dallas is dedicated to raising up the next generation of leaders in the food, beverage, and hospitality industries. To achieve that, the organization sends qualified female scholars to study and earn degrees on these fields at top schools like El Centro College, UNT-Dallas, University of Texas, University of Houston, and Texas Tech.
LDEI-Dallas is part of Les Dames D’Escoffier International, a worldwide organization made up of women leaders in the food, beverage, hospitality, and journalism industries. Started in 1985, LDEI-Dallas is one of LDEI’s five founding chapters in the US. The organization is also present in the US, UK, Canada, Mexico, and France, with 42 chapters and 2,300 members to date. LDEI membership is by invitation only.
